Stephanie Weatherly, DNP, PMH RN-BC, FACHE

Stephanie Weatherly is chief clinical officer at PMC, which is the parent company of ITP. She joined PMC in 2015 and is responsible for clinical oversight of all PMC divisions.

Stephanie’s career in healthcare began with laboring mothers and quickly evolved into clinical leadership in various settings, including care for the adult and geriatric psychiatric populations. After years of directing clinical care in individual care settings, Stephanie branched out into the oversight of multiple healthcare facilities. She has an extensive background in regulatory and quality management.

Stephanie has a passion for individualized, patient-centered care and has been instrumental in moving numerous medical model facilities to a more patient-centered approach.  She teaches individuals, families, care providers, and clinicians about mental illness and how to care for those living with mental illness. She has dedicated her life to advocating for vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing mental illness and dementia.

Stephanie holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Walden University. She has been the secretary, incoming president, president, and currently is acting as the past president for the Tennessee chapter of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.

Megan Embrescia, MD

Dr. Megan Embrescia joined ITP as their medical director in 2017, bringing several years of experience in the field of crisis telepsychiatry.

Dr. Embrescia completed both her psychiatry residency and child and adolescent fellowship at LAC-USC medical center, home to one of the busiest psychiatric emergency rooms in the country. It was there in the psychiatric ER that she developed a passion for treating patients in the most acute phase of their illness. She later made a cross-country move to Charleston, SC, where she discovered that she could see and treat the patient population that she loved via telehealth.

Dr. Embrescia has held medical licenses in over 15 states and has provided care via telemedicine in emergency rooms as well as inpatient, outpatient, mobile crisis, and medical floor settings over the last 10+ years of her career. She has a firm belief in treating individuals in the least restrictive environment possible and offering compassionate quality care to all psychiatric patients.

Dr. Embrescia earned her B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College, and later attended the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California where she graduated in 2005 with her M.D. Dr. Embrescia is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

After several interstate moves, Dr. Embrescia has now settled in her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio. She enjoys spending time with her family, including her 5 young children.

Dr. Kathryn Johnson, DO

Dr. Kathryn Johnson serves as medical director for Integrated Telehealth Partners’ inpatient services, which include prescribers who serve clients receiving mental health services. With her expertise and experience, Dr. Johnson enhances ITP’s multidisciplinary approach to client care and adds depth to treatment planning.
Dr. Johnson is a member of the American Medical Association and the American Psychiatric Association. She is certified in general adult psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in addiction medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties, and in obesity medicine by the American Board of Obesity Medicine. She received her DO from the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency in adult psychiatry at Virginia Tech Carilion Psychiatry

Dr. Erica Larson

Dr. Larson is ITP’s medical director for outpatient services. She takes a compassionate approach to care, listening to her patients to understand the core challenges they face, and recognizing how these factors contribute to their current experiences. Dr. Larson is dedicated to transforming lives by promoting mental health and optimizing functionality. Through her expertise, compassion, and commitment to comprehensive care, she is a trusted ally in the journey toward improved mental well-being. She completed medical school, psychiatry residency, and a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at Michigan State University, where she gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric conditions. Dr. Larson’s training equipped her with a comprehensive understanding of the unique challenges faced by both adults and children, enabling her to provide specialized care tailored to the specific needs of her patients.
