Integrated Telehealth Partners (ITP) provides access to an experienced group of psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners who have extensive training and board certifications covering child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, forensic psychiatry, substance abuse treatment, detox, and medication assisted treatment for opioid addiction. Our providers deliver real-time care leveraging top-of-the-line high-definition video and web conferencing tools. All patient interactions are secured and HIPAA compliant.
Our vision is to develop and implement a long-term telehealth services model to make access to healthcare sustainable to underserved areas.
We focus on making quality behavioral healthcare available to patients at more opportune locations through the use of technology at a reasonable price. We improve patient care and lower the financial burden on our healthcare partners.
“Above all else we value full transparency, trust, and results that matter to you.”
Established in 2010 and based out of Des Moines, Iowa, ITP formed as a result of evaluating the options community mental health centers had for addressing coverage gaps from a shortage of psychiatric providers. These facilities face significant recruiting costs and a lengthy recruiting process to find full-time providers and are often times faced with the decision to either pay a premium to an out-of-state telepsychiatry agency, or not provide care. Today, we not only partner with community mental health centers to provide care, but we work with hospital emergency departments, county jails, and other outpatient facilities nationally and have providers available in every time zone, nationwide. Our team of crisis coordinators link to their services page work 24/7 to find placement for the patients of our partner facilities. Their duties include assessment and verification of service coordination needs, service planning, referral, monitoring of service provision, advocacy for consumers, after-hours crisis services, and documentation of progress.
In 2019, ITP joined Psychiatric Medical Care (PMC), a leading behavioral healthcare management company with nationwide operations. PMC manages both inpatient psychiatry units and intensive outpatient psychiatry programs within hospitals.
“Together, we have common values and a shared focus of meeting the behavioral health needs of rural and underserved communities. I saw ITP’s vision and knew we could do great work together in the pursuit of increasing access to mental healthcare across the U.S. We will continue to provide outcome-focused solutions for all of our customers.”
